The biggest advantages of utilizing a card reader / cashless system in your arcade are:
Players can conveniently purchase and reload game cards at a kiosk station. Each game is equipped with a card reader which players simply tap or swipe to play. Tickets/points are accumulated directly on the game card and can be redeemed for prizes at an attended prize counter or at a self-contained prize machine such as Prize-O-Matic or Prize Hub.
Arcades with card systems significantly lower the need for operator maintenance. This, in turn, increases the location’s revenue since it eliminates coin or token jams and also takes away the need to empty coins or token from each game on a regular basis.
