2024 MOMA State Dart Tournament Recap

On January 24-28, 2024, the Minnesota Operators of Music & Amusements (MOMA) held their 38th Annual State Dart Tournament at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesota. Players from the state competed in 501 and Cricket singles, doubles, and team events of all levels. There was also a Mixed Trips 701 satellite event. Many of our American Amusement Arcades (AAA) league players competed against other dart players from all over Minnesota.

1st Place Winners from AAA Dart Leagues

Congratulations to all of our AAA league players who went home with first place finishes in the MOMA dart tournament. Overall, Robert Card had the most 1st place finishes for AAA! Individually, he won 1st place in the Level 6 division for both 501 Singles and Cricket Singles. Robert & Paul Vang also won 1st place in the Level 4 division for both 501 Doubles & Cricket Doubles.

For the 501 Singles event, Alexandre Parkin won 1st place in the Level 2 division. In the Cricket Singles event, Jeremy Rypkema won 1st place in the Level 3 division.

Jeremy & Candice Lehn won 1st place in 501 Mixed Doubles Level 3 while Roxanne Mudd & Troy Hughes won 1st place in 501 Open Doubles Level 5. In the Cricket Open Doubles competition, Jason Lyons & Joe Larson won 1st place in the Level 7 division.

Just The Tips (Ryley Anderson, Ben Regner, Ryan Grenstein, & Cole Kuesel) won 1st place in the Level 3 division of the Cricket Team event.

Donations for the MOMA Scholarship

At the tournament, MOMA raised money for the MOMA Scholarship Fund. A select number of college-bound students with industry ties are awarded scholarships each year. See our most recent scholarship recipients!

2025 MOMA Tournament

The 2025 MOMA State Dart Tournament will be held at Canterbury Park from January 29 through February 2. Check the MOMA site for details.
